Ianussiusa maso

Tomasz W Pyrcz is presently working on Ianussiusa maso ;

in the meantime we present some interesting phenotypes, mainly from Ecuador.

Antioquia, Colombia

la Bonita, NE Ecuador

these specimens look just like ssp polyommatus, the type locality of which is Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta; surprising.

last specimen is a female, exceedingly rare.

Sangay NP North, upper Pastaza valley, Ecuador

these four specimens are very similar, but do not look like any presently described ssp.

Sangay NP Center (50/70 km South of above)

here again we have five very similar specimens that do not look like any presently described ssp.
